Dr. Jhaveri was born in New York city. His family eventually settled in the Pacific Northwest in Portland Oregon. Both his parents are accomplished physicians with over 40 years of practice, his father a urologist and his mother a pediatrician and neonatologist.

He attended college at the University of Oregon in Eugene obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He completed his medical school at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland.

Following medical school Dr. Jhaveri spent two years as a General Surgery Resident at the State University of New York in Syracuse and then completed his Urology Residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

After residency Dr. Jhaveri pursued further specialized fellowship training as a Urological Oncologist at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. While at the Cleveland Clinic he authored over two-dozen papers/projects involving original research. Following his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic he joined the Northwest Prostate Institute in Seattle where he headed clinical urology at the Northwest Hospital.

In 2000 Dr. Jhaveri brought his passion for medicine and the practice of urology to Central Florida, founding Urology Healthcare of Central Florida, in Davenport, Florida He has been providing comprehensive and compassionate care for the population of Polk, Lake, and Osceola counties, and the surrounding area.

His principal hospital is the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Davenport, Florida where he currently serves as the Chief of Surgery. He is also a member of the hospital's Board of Directors.

Dr. Jhaveri lives in Central Florida with his wife of over 20 years and their two sons.
